Polarization Sensitivity of Chiral Manganese Halide Scintillators Enables High‐Resolution X‐Ray Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Highly luminescent chiral manganese halide crystals are synthesized using chiral ligands, and they exhibit dissymmetry factors up to 1.4 × 10−2 and show X‐ray detection scintillation capability with a light yield of 43 380 photons/MeV and a low detection limit of 0.05198 µGyair·s−1.

Intelligent detection of internal waves based on SWOT satellite observations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Digital Earth
Internal waves are key phenomena that impact ocean dynamics, material transport, and energy dissipation. This study presents an automated method for detecting internal waves using SWOT (surface water and ocean topography) altimetry data.

Charge Generation and Recombination Pathways in All‐Polymer Bulk Heterojunction Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Multimodal spectroscopy and device analysis reveal how field‐dependent charge generation, transport limitations, and non‐geminate recombination govern performance losses in all polymer solar cells. The results identify the key processes controlling charge extraction and recombination, providing insights for the design of more efficient all‐polymer ...

Analysis of edge stress of combined shell under internal waves

open access: yesAIP Advances
Internal wave is essentially a gravity wave induced by the layered structure of water (e.g., density stable layering), with its maximum amplitude occurring within the ocean.

Reconstructing Quantum Dot Surfaces via Dual‐Functional Ligand Pairing Enables Efficient Shortwave Infrared Optoelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work presents a ligand‐pairing strategy that reconstructs lead sulfide quantum dot surfaces for efficient short‐wave infrared optoelectronics. A low‐reactivity thiourea precursor combined with hydrobromic acid enables monodisperse and fully passivated quantum dots.

Effect of Internal Waves on the Hydrodynamics of a Mediterranean Sea Strait

open access: yesJournal of Marine Science and Engineering
In the present work, the effects of wind- and tide-induced internal waves in the Rio-Antirio Strait in western Greece were studied by using three-dimensional numerical simulations.

Tidal Conversion Into Vertical Normal Modes by Continental Margins

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters
We construct a computationally inexpensive semi‐analytical method to compute the tidal conversion into vertical modes by continental slopes and shelves, and apply it at the global scale. It relies on a vertically two‐dimensional reduced‐physics numerical
