Ecological Adaptation Mechanisms Underlying Successful Plant Reproduction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
During floral induction, various environmental and endogenous signals converge to regulate the florigen protein, which is transported from leaves to the SAM to initiate flowering. Within the SAM, a complex network of receptor kinases and small peptides orchestrates floral development with high spatiotemporal precision.

Dysregulation of the PATZ1/CTCF Balance Silences ZBTB20 to Drive Melanoma Progression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study uncovers a new oncogenic mechanism in melanoma. The transcription factor PATZ1 competes with the architectural protein CTCF for DNA binding, thereby disrupting a specific chromatin loop and silencing the tumor suppressor ZBTB20. This event unleashes the pro‐tumorigenic PMEPA1‐p38‐STAT1 signaling axis, promoting cancer progression.

Internally displaced persons in Ukraine

open access: yesEuropean Psychiatry, 2016
As of May 21, 2015 UNHCR has information about 1,299,800 IDPs, the data provided by the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine. Since the process of establishing a centralized system for registration is still pending, the actual number of persons displaced within the country may be higher. We have a complex psychopathological and clinical research ...

Enzymatic DNA Reaction Networks for Orchestrating Stimuli‐Dependent Temporal Molecular Pulse

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We present an enzymatic DNA reaction network (EDRN) that encodes nucleic‐acid targets in time, converting inputs into a universal strand and then into programmable transient fluorescence pulses. With time‐color multiplexing, EDRN enables single‐tube high‐plex nucleic acid detection and shows strong agreement with clinical sequencing across 32 specimens.

The Influence of International Law on the International Movement of Persons [PDF]

open access: yes
Many migration theories identify ‘the law’ as a significant constraint on the international movement of persons. While this constraint often operates through national migration legislation, this study examines the influence of international law in ...

Kinesin‐Induced Buckling Reveals the Limits of Microtubule Self‐Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study shows that kinesin‐driven buckling induces extensive microtubule lattice damage that often exceeds intrinsic self‐repair and leads to filament failure. While curvature, motor motility, and force individually cause limited damage, their combination overwhelms repair.
