International child abduction

The thesis examines the legal framework governing international child abduction, guided by the principle of the best interests of the child. Primary emphasis is placed on the 1980 Hague Convention and its implementation within the Greek legal order. At the same time, EU law is analysed, in particular Regulation (EU) 2019/1111.
