Atomic‐Level Structural Characteristics of β‐Relaxation in Metallic Glasses

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Using in situ synchrotron radiation X‐ray techniques, this study experimentally characterizes β‐relaxation at the atomic scale, linking it explicitly to tricapped trigonal prism (TTP)‐like atomic structures and fast atomic motions. Cyclic heating reveals β‐relaxation as irreversible yet reactivatable through rejuvenation, offering unprecedented insight

Volume Contraction Upon Resistive Switching in Cr‐Doped V2O3 as a Key Mechanism for Mottronics Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
The mechanism behind resistive switching in Cr‐doped V2O3, a prototypical Mott insulator, is revealed through spatially resolved micro‐X‐ray Diffraction and micro‐Raman studies. Applying electrical pulses leads to the creation of a filamentary conductive path.
