A “Cool” Route to Battery Electrode Material Recovery

Ice‐stripping, a novel sub‐zero electrode delamination technique, enables >90% recovery of the electrode materials from manufacturing scrap and end‐of‐life batteries. Water is sprayed upon a porous electrode and quickly freezes when placed on a cold surface. The foil is peeled away, leaving behind the black mass with the morphology retained.

Elucidating the Impact of Functional Additives on the Structure and Ion Dynamics of Hybrid Solid Electrolytes

Using multinuclear and multiscale solid‐state NMR, the bulk and interfacial structures of a LiI‐integrated PEO‐LiTFSI‐Li6PS5Cl hybrid solid electrolytes are elucidated, revealing LiI's dual role in enhancing bulk Li‐ion mobility and facilitating Li‐ion diffusion across the organic/inorganic interfaces.

Form Factor–Free Magneto‐Triboelectric Generator for Standalone Power Line IoT Applications

These limitations are addressed by employing iron, one of the most abundant materials on Earth, and the flexible ferroelectric polymer P(VDF‐TrFE). The composite film of P(VDF‐TrFE) and iron exhibits mechanical deformation under magnetic fields, combined with excellent flexibility, cost‐effective fabrication, and straightforward processing.

Pore Sieving and Surficial Charge‐Driven Desolvation for High Spatial Charge Density Carbon Cathodes in Zinc‐Ion Hybrid Capacitors

A dual‐regulation strategy integrating pore architecting and surface charge modulation is engineered in multi‐channeled carbon nanofibers, enabling efficient electric double layer compacting and interfacial [Zn(H2O)6]2+ desolvation for high spatial density charge storage.
