Advanced Science, EarlyView.During pancreatitis, IL‐1α is released from necrotic acinar cells. In response to IL‐1α, pancreatic fibroblasts release chemokines and cytokines that regulate the recruitment of immune cells to the damaged organ. Furthermore, IL‐1α primes fibroblasts, resulting in increased tissue fibrosis during chronic pancreatitis.

Multifunctional Quantum Sensing Using Single Spins in a van der Waals Crystal
Advanced Science, EarlyView.The work demonstrates a dual quantum sensing of temperature and magnetic field using spin‐complex quantum emitters in hexagonal boron nitride (hBN). Temperature sensing via zero‐phonon‐line shifts and magnetometry via optically detected magnetic resonances, enable simultaneous local thermometry and magnetic‐field measurements.

Advanced Science, EarlyView.Transmission electron microscopy reveals that the formation of planar defects in Au–Pd–Pt–Ru CCSS thin films depends on Ru content, which in turn influences hydrogen evolution reaction electrocatalytic activity. As the Ru content increases, the density of nanotwins initially rises; with further Ru addition, stacking faults form.

Real‐Time Monitoring of Mass and Mechanical Properties in Single Cells and Multicellular Spheroids
Advanced Science, EarlyView.This study introduces photothermally actuated microcantilevers combined with optical microscopy to simultaneously measure morphology, mass, and mechanical properties of cellular systems in real‐time. The findings link cytoplasm‐dominated mechanical energy dissipation to the Q‐factor as a novel biophysical parameter.
