Mechanisms for Addressing Space Debris from the Perspective of International Law
This paper explores the various mechanisms available for addressing the issue of space debris through the lens of international law. As human activities in space continue to increase, so does the accumulation of space debris, posing significant risks to ...

Curcuminoid boron difluoride dyes containing triphenylamine units are prepared and their photophysical and electrochemical properties are investigated. These new light‐emitting dyes are used in organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs) emitting at 800 nm with 1% external quantum efficiency, and show low threshold amplified spontaneous emission in thin ...

Weakly nonlocal non-equilibrium thermodynamics - variational principles and Second Law [PDF]
A general, uniform, rigorous and constructive thermodynamic approach to weakly nonlocal non-equilibrium thermodynamics is reviewed. A method is given to construct and restrict the evolution equations of physical theories according to the Second Law of thermodynamics and considering weakly nonlocal constitutive state spaces.

Optical microcavities as quantum-chaotic model systems: Openness makes the difference! [PDF]
Optical microcavities are open billiards for light in which electromagnetic waves can, however, be confined by total internal reflection at dielectric boundaries. These resonators enrich the class of model systems in the field of quantum chaos and are an ideal testing ground for the correspondence of ray and wave dynamics that, typically, is taken for ...

INTERNATIONAL LAW ON SPACE TOURISM IMPLEMENTATION
As space tourism-related technology breakthrough, the outlook of mining activities having in space moves spacious to be a fact but it should develop in consent with international law, because the issue of space is a deal of international pointing, since space pointing as explorer zone by humanity.

Mechanochemistry: Fundamental Principles and Applications
In this review, the physicochemical principles of mechanochemistry are first clarified. Based on this foundation, the research basis and cutting‐edge scientific achievements in four areas are introduced: solid‐state organic chemistry, polymers, interface science, and biomechanochemistry.

State of the Art of Low‐Frequency Acoustic Modulation: Intensity Enhancement and Directional Control
High intensity low‐frequency sound sources hold significant value in many fields. However, their long wavelength, strong penetrability, and tendency to diffract make direction control and intensity enhancement challenging. Acoustic generators and metamaterial‐based acoustic devices still face issues such as low energy efficiency, poor directional ...
