Sex Differences in Medication Discontinuation in Axial Spondyloarthritis

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective We examined sex differences in medication discontinuation among patients with axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) initiating tumor necrosis factor inhibitors (TNFi), interleukin‐17 inhibitors (IL‐17i), or JAK inhibitors (JAKi). Methods Using data from the Rheumatology Informatics System for Effectiveness (RISE) Registry (2003–2025), we assessed ...

Spin signature of majorana fermions in topological nodal-point superconductors

open access: yesnpj Quantum Materials
In two-dimensional topological nodal superconductors, Majorana edge states have been conventionally believed to exhibit spin-triplet pairing correlations.

Clinical Practice Guideline for Evaluation and Management of Peripheral Nervous System Manifestations in Sjögren's Disease

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective Sjögren's disease is an autoimmune disorder that can impact multiple organ systems, including the peripheral nervous system (PNS). PNS manifestations, which can exist concurrently, include mononeuropathies, polyneuropathies, and autonomic nervous system neuropathies.

The Heckscher-Ohlin Model and the Network Structure of International Trade [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper estimates for 28 product groups a characteristic parameter that reflects the topological structure of its trading network. Using these estimates, it then describes how the structure of international trade has evolved during the 1980-2000 ...

The Butterfly Diagram Internal Structure

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2010
A time-latitude diagram, where the spotgroup area is taken into account, is presented for cycles 12 through 23. The results show that the spotted area is concentrated in few, small portions ("knots") of the Butterfly Diagram (BD). The BD may be described as a cluster of knots. Knots are distributed in the butterfly wings in a seemingly randomly way.

Moderators of the Effects of Exercise and Manual Therapy for People With Knee and Hip Osteoarthritis: A Secondary Analysis of a Randomized Clinical Trial

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective This study aimed to investigate potential moderators influencing the effects of manual therapy and exercise therapy on pain and functional outcomes in individuals with knee and/or hip osteoarthritis, using data from the MOA trial. This is a secondary analysis of data from the MOA trial that compares the clinical effectiveness of manual ...

Development of a non-destructive depth-selective quantification method for sub-percent carbon contents in steel using negative muon lifetime analysis

open access: yesScientific Reports
The amount of C in steel, which is critical in determining its properties, is strongly influenced by steel production technology. We propose a novel method of quantifying the bulk C content in steel non-destructively using muons.
