Diamondiyne: A 3D Carbon Allotrope With Mixed sp–sp3 Hybridization
A new carbon allotrope with mixed sp–sp3 hybridization has been synthesized through delicately controlled kinetics at a liquid–liquid interface. The resulting material, termed diamondiyne, exhibits an expanded diamond‐type network in the form of small crystallites in a continuous all‐carbon film.
