Interplanetary magnetic field and solar rotation
Planetary and Space Science, 2012Abstract This article presents analysis of interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) B measured at the L 1 point outside the geo-magnetosphere. The autocorrelation of daily values of the B x and B y component of the IMF reveal clear solar rotational modulation. The B z ( z -component of IMF) mostly do not show any such modulation.

MODELING OF SOLAR AND INTERPLANETARY MAGNETIC FIELDS
Solar Physics, 1997A brief historical review of solar and interplanetary magnetic field modeling and analysis is presented. The modeling was initiated with the routine observation of longitudinal magnetograms and the application of current free potential magnetic fields for its interpretation.
