Trends in Continuity and Interpolation for Computer Graphics

open access: closedIEEE Computer Graphics and Applications, 2015
In every computer graphics oriented application today, it is a common practice to texture 3D models as a way to obtain realistic material. As part of this process, mesh texturing, deformation, and visualization are all key parts of the computer graphics field.

Scattered data interpolation and approximation for computer graphics

open access: closedACM SIGGRAPH ASIA 2010 Courses, 2010
The goal of scattered data interpolation techniques is to construct a (typically smooth) function from a set of unorganized samples. These techniques have a wide range of applications in computer graphics. For instance they can be used to model a surface from a set of sparse samples, to reconstruct a BRDF from a set of measurements, to interpolate ...

Angular spline: a new approach to the interpolation problem in computer graphics

open access: closedCAD Computer Aided Design, 1987
A method to interpolate ordered sets of points is presented. This method is based upon a new spline function (the angular spline) which has been derived on the basis of geometrical considerations and whose parametric expressions use a properly chosen angle as a parameter.

Discriminating natural images and computer generated graphics based on the impact of CFA interpolation on the correlation of PRNU

open access: closedDigital Investigation, 2014
To discriminate natural images from computer generated graphics, a novel identification method based on the features of the impact of color filter array (CFA) interpolation on the local correlation of photo response non-uniformity noise (PRNU) is proposed.
