ABSTRACT Congenital bile acid synthesis defects (BASD), the most common of which is 3β‐hydroxy‐Δ5‐C27‐steroid dehydrogenase oxidoreductase (3β‐HSD7) deficiency, are a rare cause of fat‐soluble vitamin malabsorption.
