Mathematic principles of interrupted-sampling repeater jamming (ISRJ)

Science in China Series F: Information Sciences, 2007
Coherent jamming is one of the important trends in modern radar electronic war-fare. High-speed sampling of wideband radio frequency (RF) signals and high iso-lation of two receive-transmit antennas are key technologies for the realization of coherent jamming. However, these technologies present significant challenges to engineering application.

Jamming Wideband Radar Using Interrupted-Sampling Repeater

IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, 2017
Interrupted-sampling repeater jamming (ISRJ) provides a novel coherent-jamming mode against wideband radar. ISRJ allows the single-antenna jammer to periodically sample and repeat a fraction of the intercepted signal, which reduces the sampling rate and achieves transmit-receive isolation. The coherent-jamming signal generated by ISRJ can form multiple

Jamming de-chirping radar using interrupted-sampling repeater

Science China Information Sciences, 2011
Interrupted-sampling repeater jamming (ISRJ) is a novel jamming mode for pulse compression radar in principle. In this paper, a jamming approach of applying ISRJ to de-chirping radar is presented. The principles of ISRJ are expounded, and the ways to achieve a train false target for de-chirping radar are analyzed.
