Scaling and Intermittency in Animal Behavior [PDF]
Scale-invariant spatial or temporal patterns and L\'evy flight motion have been observed in a large variety of biological systems. It has been argued that animals in general might perform L\'evy flight motion with power law distribution of times between ...

Causal Learning With Interrupted Time Series
Interrupted time series analysis (ITSA) is a statistical procedure that evaluates whether an intervention causes a change in the intercept and/or slope of the time series. However, very little research has accessed causal learning in interrupted time series situations.

Forecasting Construction Cost Index Using Interrupted Time-Series
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) provided by the Engineering News-Record (ENR) is frequently used in predicting the cost of construction projects because it reflects a comprehensive trend in the construction costs. In previous studies, the CCI was forecasted using the time-series analysis methods.

Shapeshifting Liquid Metal Droplets for Soft Fluidic Machines
This study presented a liquid metal shape shifting strategy which harnesses Lorentz force, surface tension and fluid instabilities to achieve autonomous fluidic power. By using a liquid metal droplet as a mobile current carrier, this strategy enables the development of low‐voltage, self‐oscillating pumps that outperform existing soft pumps.

Uncertain interrupted time series analysis
The uncertain time series (UTS) is a sequence of uncertain observations in chronological order. The uncertain autoregressive (UAR) model is one of the basic UTS models believes the uncertain time series value relies mainly on it’s historical values linearly.
