Intersection numbers, polynomial division and relative cohomology
We present a simplification of the recursive algorithm for the evaluation of intersection numbers for differential n-forms, by combining the advantages emerging from the choice of delta-forms as generators of relative twisted cohomology groups and the ...

Matrix Integrals and Feynman Diagrams in the Kontsevich Model
We review some relations occurring between the combinatorial intersection theory on the moduli spaces of stable curves and the asymptotic behavior of the 't Hooft-Kontsevich matrix integrals.

5-Designs with three intersection numbers
It is proved that the Witt 5-(24,8,1) design is the unique 5-\((v, k, \lambda)\) design with exactly three intersection numbers if \(k- 1\) is a prime or \(\lambda\leq 4\) or at least two intersection numbers are less than 5.

Multiple ETS family transcription factors bind mutant p53 via distinct interaction regions
Mutant p53 gain‐of‐function is thought to be mediated by interaction with other transcription factors. We identify multiple ETS transcription factors that can bind mutant p53 and found that this interaction can be promoted by a PXXPP motif. ETS proteins that strongly bound mutant p53 were upregulated in ovarian cancer compared to ETS proteins that ...

(Fractional) intersection numbers, tadpoles and anomalies [PDF]
We use the Witten index in the open string sector to determine tadpole charges of orientifold planes and D-branes. As specific examples we consider type I compactifications on Calabi Yau manifolds and noncompact orbifolds. The tadpole constraints suggest that the standard embedding is not a natural choice for the gauge bundle.

HDAC4 is degraded by the E3 ligase FBXW7. In colorectal cancer, FBXW7 mutations prevent HDAC4 degradation, leading to oxaliplatin resistance. Forced degradation of HDAC4 using a PROTAC compound restores drug sensitivity by resetting the super‐enhancer landscape, reprogramming the epigenetic state of FBXW7‐mutated cells to resemble oxaliplatin ...

Stable evaluation of Lefschetz thimble intersection numbers:Towards real-time path integrals
We introduce a robust numerical method for determining intersection numbers of Lefschetz thimbles in multivariable settings. Our approach employs the multiple shooting method to solve the upward flow equations from the saddle points to the original ...

Generation of two normal and tumour (cancerous) paired human cell lines using an established tissue culture technique and their characterisation is described. Cell lines were characterised at cellular, protein, chromosome and gene expression levels and for HPV status.

Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...
