Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...

Understanding the intersectional stigma of ageing, disability, and place: a systematic literature mapping review [PDF]
Stigma is a key concept for social scientists interested in how certain groups in society are judged and treated negatively. Within housing studies this scholarship reflects longstanding interests within the discipline regarding the spatial impacts of ...

La interseccionalidad como desafío al mainstreaming de género en las politicas públicas
This work starts from the need to introduce the intersectional approach in Antidiscriminatory law which juxtaposes the forms of discrimination. In order to do so, it is suggested to begin with analyzing the public policies on equality and, particularly ...

Low‐voltage FIB‐SEM tomography combined with a image preprocessing pipeline improves phase contrast and enables reliable machine‐learning segmentation of conductive networks in lithium‐ion battery electrodes. Structural descriptors are extracted from segmented images, done semimanually and automated, and compared.

Intersezioni di sguardi. La rappresentazione intersezionale in alcune serie Netflix di successo
Digitalization has been changing the methods of production, distribution, and use of audiovisual products, according to a process of platformization (Van Dijck, Poell, de Waal, 2018). Platforms have introduced a new user-based model that feeds different

Grain boundary triple junctions are an essential ingredient of the microstructure of polycrystalline materials. In this study, a triple junction is observed using atomic‐resolution scanning transmission electron microscopy and characterized. Computer simulations reveal that the junction has a dislocation character that is determined by the joining ...

Social science textbooks from an intersectional perspective
Norms and values have a central role in teaching and the school should contribute with this knowledge. How this is to be done is not concrete expressed in the curriculum and is therefore of importance to investigate more closely.

Electrified Damage in Motion Systems
The electrified damage in motion systems is a fundamental framework presenting the degradation pathway arising from the coupling of electrical energy transport with mechanical contact and interfacial chemistry. The framework positions electrified damage as a distinct degradation regime with unique characteristic surface morphologies and failures of ...

Reading Willa Cather's My Ántonia from an Intersectional Perspective
Considering the fact that many people are oppressed because of their gender and race, whilst others are privileged because of theirs, we should reflect on the concept of intersectionality.

Design and Analysis of Compression–Torsion Coupling Metamaterials Using the Golden Section Method
A novel compression–torsion metamaterial is engineered using inclined rods and symmetry breaking. To optimize its torsional performance, the golden section method is employed. The mechanical response of the metamaterial is validated through both numerical analysis and experimental validation.
