We evaluated the contribution of interspecific interactions, intraspecific processes, and environmental forcing to variation in speciessa' abundance in a habitat undergoing rapid successional change. We applied a Bayesian hierarchical approach to a 29‐yr

Effects of climate on intra‐ and interspecific size variation in bumble‐bees [PDF]
Summary In contrast to other social bees, bumble‐bees exhibit considerable size variation within the worker caste. This size variation has not been adequately explained, although it is known that larger workers tend to be foragers and smaller bees spend more time in the nest.

This study established an RT‐MSCs‐based therapeutic approach for scleroderma in mice. RT‐MSCs attenuated fibrosis by regulating mitochondrial autophagy and restored gut microbiota homeostasis. Metabolomic analyses confirmed recovery of key metabolites, and RT‐MSCs demonstrated favorable lesion targeting and safety profiles.

3D Chromatin Architecture Provides Insights Into Leaf Trait Variation Among Pear Species
ABSTRACT Three‐dimensional (3D) chromatin architecture plays a fundamental role in eukaryotic gene regulations, its functional significance in perennial fruit trees remains poorly characterized despite extensive applications in crop genomics. Here, we developed high‐resolution (∼5 kb) Hi‐C maps of Pyrus and compared 3D genomic architecture of three ...

Human‐relevant methods are essential for modern chemical safety assessment. This study helps define the capabilities and boundaries of an in vitro testing battery for developmental neurotoxicity by exploring its biological applicability domain. By linking neurodevelopmental disease‐related pathways to key neurodevelopmental processes, the work enhances

Effect of kinetin on interspecific crosses inBrassica
Application of kinetin to four interspecific crosses in Brassica, either singly or in combination with NAA, resulted in larger length and retention time of ovaries, increased frequency of ovules with embryos and aided embryo development.
