Association Analysis on Interval-Valued Fuzzy Sets

2018
The aim of this paper is to generalize the concept of association rules for interval-valued fuzzy sets. Interval-valued fuzzy sets allow for intervals of membership degrees to be assigned to each element of the universe. These intervals may be interpreted as partial information where the exact membership degree is not known.

A fuzzy clustering algorithm based on interval valued fuzzy sets

2012 9th International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Knowledge Discovery, 2012
Due to the continuity of the thermal power plant operating data and information is incomplete; the data of the characterization of the behavioral characteristics of things is often not the exact number, but the number of interval-valued fuzzy sets of data.

Non-specificity and interval-valued fuzzy sets

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 1996
Abstract Non-specificity is a characteristic of interval-valued fuzzy sets. Vagueness is represented by fuzzy sets which capture the meaning representation of linguistic terms or linguistic variables. This is Type I semantic uncertainty. Combinations of two or more vague linguistic terms with vague linguistic operators generate semantic uncertainty ...

Interval valued fuzzy sets and fuzzy measures

NAFIPS/IFIS/NASA '94. Proceedings of the First International Joint Conference of The North American Fuzzy Information Processing Society Biannual Conference. The Industrial Fuzzy Control and Intelligent Systems Conference, and the NASA Joint Technology Wo, 2002
Interval valued fuzzy set generated by fuzzy disjunctive and conjunctive normal forms are proposed to be a model of type II fuzzy sets to represent the second order semantic uncertainty realized by the combination of two or more fuzzy, vague, linguistic concepts by linguistic connectives.

Adjoint Pairs on Interval-Valued Fuzzy Sets

2010
In this paper the authors present the definition of interval operator associated to two general increasing operators, on the set of subintervals of [0,1], and how its residuated implication must be defined, if the initial operator have adjoint implications.

An Interval-Valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Rough Set Model

Fundamenta Informaticae, 2009
Given a widespread interest in rough sets as being applied to various tasks of data analysis it is not surprising at all that we have witnessed a wave of further generalizations and algorithmic enhancements of this original concept. This paper proposes an interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy rough model by means of integrating the classical Pawlak ...

On Interval Valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets

2019
In this chapter, the basic definitions of the concepts of Interval Valued Fuzzy Sets (IVFSs) and Interval Valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets (IVIFSs) will be introduced. The relation between IFSs and IVFSs will be discussed.
