Interval observer composed of observers for nonlinear systems

2014 European Control Conference (ECC), 2014
For a family of continuous-time nonlinear systems with input, output and uncertain terms, a new interval observer design is proposed. The main feature of the constructed interval observer is that it is composed of two copies of a classical observer whose corresponding error equations are, in general, not cooperative.

Interval Colorectal Cancer 2006–2015: Novel Observations

Digestive Diseases and Sciences, 2020
Screening for colorectal cancer (CRC) with colonoscopy has been credited for the majority of the decline in mortality over the past 40 years. However, colonoscopy is hampered by frequent interval cancers (ICs) occurring within 36 months after the last examination.

Interval observers for linear systems with delay

Proceedings of the 48h IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (CDC) held jointly with 2009 28th Chinese Control Conference, 2009
This paper focuses on the analysis of some classes of observers for linear systems with a point-wise delay. First, it is pointed out that, classical interval observers for systems without delays are not robust with respect to the presence of delays that appear in a specific structure location, no matter how small it is.
