Transendocardial injection of expanded autologous CD34+ cells after myocardial infarction: Design of the EXCELLENT trial

open access: yesESC Heart Failure, Volume 12, Issue 2, Page 1455-1463, April 2025.
Abstract Aims The extent of irreversible cardiomyocyte necrosis after acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is a major determinant of residual left ventricular (LV) function and clinical outcome. Comparative performance of risk prediction indices for mortality or readmission following heart failure hospitalization

open access: yesESC Heart Failure, Volume 12, Issue 2, Page 1227-1236, April 2025.
Comparative performance of 7 risk prediction indices in patients hospitalized for heart failure. In this cohort of 1206 patients, the LENT index offered the greatest discrimination, calibration, and overall accuracy in predicting 30‐day composite all‐cause mortality or readmission following hospitalization for heart failure.
