Y-stent-assisted coil embolization of anterior circulation aneurysms using two solitaire AB devices: a single enter experience [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Wide-neck intracranial aneurysms remain a challenge to endovascular treatment. We describe our experience in repairing wide-neck aneurysms of the anterior circulation located at arterial branch points using coil embolization assisted by Y-stenting ...

Long‐term outcomes of stereotactic radiofrequency ablation in hypothalamic hamartomas: A single‐center experience

open access: yesEpilepsia, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective Hypothalamic hamartomas (HHs) lead to refractory epilepsy, and minimally invasive surgical approaches are standard of care for affected patients. Stereotactic radiofrequency thermocoagulation (SRT) is one of the treatment methods recognized to achieve seizure freedom. This study reports surgical outcome from a single center reporting

The potential role of sleep quality in the relationship between glymphatic function and migraine frequency: Insights from a cross‐sectional study

open access: yesHeadache: The Journal of Head and Face Pain, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective This study aimed to explore the association between glymphatic function, as assessed by the diffusion tensor imaging along perivascular space (DTI‐ALPS) index, and headache frequency in individuals with migraine. Additionally, it evaluated whether sleep quality modulates this relationship.

Patients with chronic post‐dural puncture headache do not have typical imaging features of intracranial hypotension: An MRI study using the Bern score

open access: yesHeadache: The Journal of Head and Face Pain, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective This study evaluated cranial magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) signs in patients with post‐dural puncture headache (PDPH) using an established assessment score developed for spontaneous intracranial hypotension (Bern score). We hypothesize that patients with chronic PDPH do not have typical imaging features of intracranial hypotension.
