Phosphatidylethanolamine Protects Nucleus Pulposus Cells From Oxidative Stress‐Induced Cellular Senescence and Extracellular Matrix Degradation by Promoting Autophagy

open access: yesJOR SPINE, Volume 8, Issue 2, June 2025.
In this study, we utilized LC/MS‐based untargeted metabolomics analysis to examine changes in the metabolite profiles of NP cells under stress conditions. Upon analysis, PE was identified as a differentially abundant metabolite for its decreased content within advanced‐stage NP cells.

Physiological and Anthropometric Factors Associated With Spine Loading Estimates From Imaging‐Based Subject‐Specific Musculoskeletal Models

open access: yesJOR SPINE, Volume 8, Issue 2, June 2025.
Utilizing CT scans from a population‐based cohort, we identified several physiological and anthropometric characteristics that were associated with loading estimates from imaging‐based musculoskeletal models. Shear loading is more complex than compressive loading and is not easily explained by basic clinical factors.
