An Anterior Cingulate Cortex‐Anterior Insular Cortex Glutamatergic Circuit Gates Stress‐Induced Visceral Hypersensitivity and Anxiety via Ionotropic Glutamate Receptors Trafficking

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies an anterior cingulate cortex (ACC) to anterior insular cortex (AIC) glutamatergic (Glu) circuit that gates stress induced visceral hypersensitivity and anxiety. Circuit activation induces both phenotypes, whereas inhibition relieves them.

CXCL10/SLC11A1 Axis Exacerbates Septic Liver Injury by Regulating Neutrophil Extracellular Traps Formation to Drive Macrophage Pro‑Inflammatory Polarization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In sepsis‐induced liver injury, marked neutrophil infiltration correlates with disease severity. Neutrophil SLC11A1 drives intracellular Fe2+ and ROS via the Fenton reaction, promoting NETs formation. Hepatocyte‐derived CXCL10 recruits neutrophils and activates the JAK/STAT1/SLC11A1 axis, enhancing NETs‐mediated inflammation.

Balance Cairan Restriktif sebagai Manajemen Pada Pasien dengan Sindroma Kompartemen Abdomen di Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

open access: yesJournal of Anaesthesia and Pain, 2020

Probiotic‐Derived Vesicles Rectally Delivered via Thermo‐Gelling Copolymer Promote Mucosal Healing and Reduce Inflammation in Ulcerative Colitis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A thermo‐responsive rectal delivery platform integrating probiotic‐derived extracellular vesicles within a hyaluronic acid‐based copolymer enables localized and sustained therapy for ulcerative colitis. The formulation effectively suppresses inflammation, promotes macrophage polarization toward a regenerative phenotype, restores epithelial barrier ...

Increased intraluminal pressure in the small intestine as an important factor in the development of intra-abdominal hypertension in patients with diffuse secondary peritonitis: An observational prospective study

open access: yesКубанский научный медицинский вестник
Background. An increased intraluminal pressure in the small intestine due to paralytic intestinal obstruction refers to one of the most important factors for development and severity of intra-abdominal hypertension in patients with diffuse peritonitis ...

Subversion of Atypical Mucin Traps by a Spore‐Coat Effector Blocks Cellular Immunity in Drosophila

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
While the entomopathogenic fungus Metarhizium robertsii can evade insect humoral immunity, its subversion of cellular defenses is still elusive. We identify Eac1 as a spore‐coat protein essential for infecting drosophilids by targeting atypical mucins (Sgf1 and Sgf2), which can entrap spores in a gel matrix and thereby facilitate hemocyte encapsulation.

Engineering Synergistic Intra‐/Intermolecular Conformational Locking via Side‐Chain Branching: A β‐Sheet‐Inspired Strategy for Planar NIR‐II Phototheranostic Aggregates

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A bio‐inspired side‐chain branching strategy is developed to orchestrate a dual noncovalent conformational locking (NoCL) network, enabling the construction of perfectly planar NIR‐II phototheranostic aggregates. Such structural precision maximizes light‐harvesting efficiency and optimizes exciton dynamics, ensuring synchronized enhancements in NIR‐II ...

Syndrome of abdominal hypertension in the fore-cast pancreatogenic peritonitis

open access: yesКубанский научный медицинский вестник, 2015
We propose a reliable method of direct measurement of intra-abdominal pressure. Found that all patients with peritonitis pancreatogenic has increased intra-abdominal pressure greater than 15 mm hg. art.

Transposable Element–Driven PIEZO Mutation Enhances Locust Flight in Plateau Hypoxia

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Why transposable elements (TEs) persisted or expanded in genomes remains a mystery. Using integrated analysis of TE macro‐ and microevolution in locusts, our results showed that thousands of TE insertions promoted widespread adaptive variation. Subfamilies of candidate adaptive TEs amplified and reshaped species‐level genomic architecture.
