Modeling BRDF over Row Crops Canopy with Effects of Intra-Row Heterogeneity
Row crops are regarded as a transitional type between continuous and discrete vegetation. Previous studies idealized row crops as periodic hedgerows with rectangular cross-sections.

By integrating knowledge‐augmented artificial intelligence with an oxygen‐supplemented 3D screening platform, a synergistic interaction between berberine and enzalutamide is identified. The framework integrates compound mechanisms of action with disease‐relevant signaling context to prioritize candidate combinations and generate testable pathway‐based ...

Robotic intra-row weed hoeing in maize and sugar beet
A prototype of robotic intra-row weed hoeing in maize and sugar beet is presented in this study. Weeds in the crop rows were identified using a bi-spectral image analysis system and shape analysis. Positions of weeds in the images were recorded. Selective weed control in the row was performed with a modified finger weeder driven by electrical motors ...

DESIGN AND TEST OF A CLAMPING-SHEAR INTRA-ROW WEEDING DEVICE
Aiming at the complexity and insufficient adaptability of current weeding devices for ridge tillage, this paper presents the design of a clamping-shear weeding device that mimics the hand-grabbing motion. Through the force analysis of the weed root system, the optimal shovel surface inclination angle is determined to be 10°~40°.

A Large Scale Multi‐Modal Workflow for Battery Characterization: From Concept to Implementation
Isolated characterization techniques produce independent datasets and single‐property insights. However, progressively more holistic interpretations of battery‐material behavior is needed in the future. Here we demonstrate a coordinated multimodal workflow enabling the correlation of heterogeneous datasets and the construction of multidimensional ...
