Asymptomatic intracardiac mass in a 14-year-old girl with granulomatosis with polyangiitis: Case report

open access: yesPediatric Rheumatology Online Journal, 2012
Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA; Wegener’s granulomatosis) is a systemic necrotizing vasculitis of unknown etiology that commonly involves the upper airways, lungs, and kidneys.

Intracardiac leiomyomatosis: Diagnosis and treatment [PDF]

open access: yes, 1984
Intracardiac leiomyomatosis is the presence of a benign smooth muscle tumor within a cardiac chamber reaching the heart by direct intravenous extension from an extracardiac source. After a case report and a review of the 13 previously reported cases, the

Clinical Characteristics and Timing of Accessory Pathway Reconduction During Catheter Ablation of Accessory Pathways

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, Volume 42, Issue 5, October 2026.
Intra‐procedural accessory pathway reconduction occurred in 18% of patients, with 65.2% of events detected ≥ 15 min after initial pathway elimination. Reconduction was associated with a higher rate of late recurrence, supporting careful assessment for conduction recovery during the post‐ablation waiting period.

Recurrent intracardiac leiomyomatosis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
An intravenous leiomyoma, a histologically benign smooth muscle tumour, arises from either a uterine myoma or the walls of a uterine vessel, with extension into veins.

Efficacy and Safety of 60 W Versus 90 W, 4‐s Radiofrequency Applications to the Esophagus‐Adjacent Left Atrial Posterior Wall During Pulmonary Vein Isolation: A Pilot Study

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, Volume 42, Issue 5, October 2026.
In this randomized pilot study, 60 W and 90 W QMODE+ RF applications for the periesophageal region achieved comparable acute block and low esophageal injury rates (4.2% each), with similar 1‐year arrhythmia‐free survival, although contact force was higher in the 60 W group.

Right atrial mass after cardiac arrest: A case report and brief literature review

open access: yesSAGE Open Medical Case Reports
Although thrombotic events are common complications after cardiac arrest, the rapid formation of intracardiac thrombi is rarely directly observed. Here, we report a 57-year-old male who underwent laparoscopic bladder flap ureteral replacement surgery for

Benign congenital intracardiac thyroid and polycystic tumor causing right ventricular outflow tract obstruction and conduction disturbance [PDF]

open access: yes, 1987

High‐Density Spectral Analysis for Bi‐Atrial Arrhythmogenic Substrate During Non‐Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, Volume 42, Issue 5, October 2026.
Analyzing 48 153 CARTOFINDER mapping points revealed that both FoA and RoA sites demonstrated elevated DF deviation (DFD) and RI compared to non‐sites. While both metrics increased progressively with FoA repetitions, high‐repetition RoA sites paradoxically displayed lower values.

The role of computed tomography in the differential diagnosis of an intracardiac mass of the mitral valve: a case series

open access: yesDigital Diagnostics
The differential diagnosis of an echocardiographically detected intracardiac mass in the mitral annulus can be challenging and usually requires a multimodal approach.

Acute anaphylactic and multiorgan inflammatory effects of Comirnaty in pigs: evidence of spike protein mRNA transfection and paralleling inflammatory cytokine upregulation

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, Volume 183, Issue 20, Page 6225-6239, October 2026.
Abstract Background and Purpose Rare but severe adverse events (AEs) associated with mRNA‐lipid nanoparticle (LNP) COVID‐19 vaccines, such as Comirnaty, include anaphylaxis and inflammatory organ disorders, but their underlying mechanisms are poorly understood. We aimed to develop an animal model to study these phenomena.
