Molybdenum (Mo), with its unique strength, uniform corrosion, and radiopacity, enables innovative biodegradable implants for transformative stroke therapy. Abstract Neurovascular implants for stroke intervention face a critical dilemma: permanent devices (e.g., nitinol stents, platinum coils) often trigger chronic inflammation and recurrence, whereas ...

Ruptured infective intracranial aneurysm with intracerebral hemorrhage in an infant
Intracranial aneurysms are rare in children. Less than 10% of pediatric intracranial aneurysms are infective aneurysms, and few cases of such aneurysms in infants have been reported in the literature.

A Report on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Multiple Fungal Critical Brain Abscesses A Case Report
ABSTRACT Multiple Candida glabrata (C. glabrata) brain abscesses are an exceptionally rare central‐nervous‐system infection. Clinical data on diagnosing and managing multiple Candida glabrata brain abscesses are still scarce. Here we reported a 66‐year‐old patient with multiple C. glabrata brain abscesses confirmed by cerebrospinal‐fluid puncture.

This study investigated associations between 24‐hour heart rate variability (HRV)‐assessed autonomic activity and perihematomal edema (PHE) development plus functional outcomes in 312 intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) patients. Parasympathetic hypoactivity (low high‐frequency power) independently correlated with poor 3‐month outcomes (modified Rankin ...

ABSTRACT Background Carotid artery stenosis is a major cause of stroke. Non‐contrast MR angiography (MRA) using time‐spatial labeling inversion pulse (Time‐SLIP) may offer potential advantages over 3D time‐of‐flight (TOF)‐MRA for simultaneous visualization of carotid, vertebral, and subclavian arteries, but remains uninvestigated.

ABSTRACT Background Three‐dimensional vessel wall imaging (VWI) using 3T MRI enables detailed assessment of intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis (ICAS), but the optimal reference tissue and its clinical utility remain unclear. This study aimed to identify the most suitable reference tissue for contrast‐enhanced (CE) VWI and to clarify imaging ...
