PANEs are specifically designed to enhance the brain delivery efficiency of circDYM compared to commercialized lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). Intranasal administration of PANE‐circDYM effectively alleviated LPS‐induced depressive‐like behaviors by mitigating neuroinflammation and promoting neuroplasticity.

Intracranial hypertension in syndromic craniosynostosis:Prevalence, detection, pathophysiology and treatment [PDF]
This thesis highlights several aspects regarding the clinical course and treatment of syndromic craniosynostosis. First, we evaluate the prevalence of (syndromic) craniosynostosis: how many children are born with this rare condition in the Netherlands ...

Identifying stimulus-driven neural activity patterns in multi-patient intracranial recordings [PDF]
Identifying stimulus-driven neural activity patterns is critical for studying the neural basis of cognition. This can be particularly challenging in intracranial datasets, where electrode locations typically vary across patients. This chapter first presents an overview of the major challenges to identifying stimulus-driven neural activity patterns in ...

Transcranial ultrasound holds great potential in medical applications. However, effective transcranial ultrasound transmission remains challenging. To address these, this work introduces an innovative Mie‐resonance flexible metamaterial (MRFM), which consists of periodically arranged low‐speed micropillars embedded within a high‐speed flexible ...

Abstract Pathogenic variants in JAG1 are known to cause Alagille syndrome (ALGS), a disorder that primarily affects the liver, lung, kidney, and skeleton. Whereas cardiac symptoms are also frequently observed in ALGS, thoracic aortic aneurysms have only been reported sporadically in postmortem autopsies.

Nonlinear Schrödinger Kernel for hardware acceleration in machine learning inference [PDF]
Alternative machine learning approaches that are computationally light with low latency and can work with only a small training dataset are needed for applications where the insatiable demand of deep learning methods for computing power and large training data cannot be met.

RAISED INTRACRANIAL PRESSURE [PDF]
Raised intracranial pressure (ICP) is a common problem in neurosurgical and neurological practice. It can arise as a consequence of intracranial mass lesions, disorders of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) circulation, and more diffuse intracranial pathological processes. Its development may be acute or chronic.

Aortic dissection (AD) is accompanied by a decrease in CCDC80 in vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs). CCDC80 can interact with JAK2, and VSMC‐specific CCDC80 deficiency accelerates the progression of AD by activating the JAK2/STAT3 pathway involved in regulating the phenotype switching and function of VSMCs.
