Intracranial thrombosis after ventriculoperitoneal shunting

We report a case of intracranial thrombosis (IT) after ventriculoperitoneal shunting (VPS). We reviewed the literature to highlight the importance of considering the possibility of cerebral venous thrombosis following VPS, even though it is a rarely reported complication.
