Obstetrical & Gynecological Survey, 1953Abstract One hundred twelve cases of carcinoma of the vulva have been reviewed. In two cases the intraepithelial phase persisted for seven and eleven years, respectively, before the invasion occurred. In two cases there were large intraepithelial lesions with early central invasion.

Urologia Internationalis, 2010On the basis of 11 cases of intraepithelial carcinoma of the bladder the bibliography on this subject is revised and the clinical, endoscopic and histopathological features are discussed. Intraepithelial carcinoma may appear clinically as a chronic stubborn cystitis without true tumour or may be preceding, subsequent or concomitant to a bladder tumour.

Intraepithelial carcinoma of the vulva
American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, 1970Abstract The clinical data and the management of 41 cases of intraepithelial carcinoma of the vulva during a 23 year period are presented. The rationale for an extensive surgical approach is discussed. We found a 7.3 per cent recurrence rate and a 25 per cent second primary malignancy rate in our series.

Intraepithelial carcinoma of the vulva
American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, 1972Abstract Between 1940 and 1971, there have been 114 vulvar carcinomas seen in our oncology service, which included 24 intraepithelial carcinomas, an incidence of 21 per cent. The importance of age, gross appearance of the lesion, and secondary primary malignancies have been discussed.

Intraepithelial carcinoma of the anus in homosexual men
Diseases of the Colon & Rectum, 1984Anal warts (condylomata acuminata) from seven homosexual men revealed intraepithelial carcinoma (carcinoma in situ) within the condylomatous tissue or in adjacent anal mucosa. All lesions displayed morphologic evidence of papillomavirus infection and two of the seven revealed histologic changes characteristic of herpes simplex infection.
