Congenital Bronchial Atresia Mimicking Pulmonary Sequestration in the Lower Lobe: A Case Report

Lower‐lobe congenital bronchial atresia may resemble pulmonary sequestration, particularly in the presence of recurrent infection and cavitary changes. Systematic evaluation of bronchial continuity and vascular supply using three‐dimensional CT was useful for accurate diagnosis and surgical decision‐making.

A Case of Intralobar Pulmonary Sequestration in Situs Inversus Totalis

Thoracoscopic Segmentectomy for Pulmonary Sequestration Supplied by Aberrant Celiac Trunk

We report a rare case of right intralobar pulmonary sequestration supplied by a large aberrant systemic artery arising from the celiac trunk. Preoperative three‐dimensional computed tomography (3DCT) enabled precise visualisation of the vascular anatomy and guided safe thoracoscopic basal segmentectomy using an intrathoracic peripheral control strategy.
