Prenatal diagnostic accuracy and epidemiology of congenital lung malformations: A retrospective review of cases in a tertiary referral center in northern Finland in 2010–2020

open access: yesActa Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, Volume 104, Issue 6, Page 1120-1127, June 2025.
Congenital lung malformations (CLM) are detected well prenatally in our area, but the accuracy of prenatal diagnoses is only 51%–60% compared to postnatal diagnoses. The birth prevalence of all CLMs is estimated at 3.71 cases per 10 000 live births in northern Finland.

A 3‐Month‐Old Infant With Extralobar Subdiaphragmatic Bronchopulmonary Sequestration: A Case Report

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 13, Issue 5, May 2025.

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 13, Issue 3, March 2025.
ABSTRACT Congenital lung malformations (CLMs) are rare developmental anomalies of the lung, including congenital pulmonary airway malformations, bronchopulmonary sequestration (BPS), congenital lobar overinflation, bronchogenic cyst, and isolated congenital bronchial atresia.
