Dorsal intramedullary dermoids
Neurosurgical Review, 2005We report a case of a 31-year-old woman with an intramedullary thoracic dermoid, who had progressive spastic paraparesis in her lower extremities over a period of three years, as well as loss of bowel and bladder control. She had been operated for "spina bifida" at three days of age but had no neurologic deficit.

Spinal intramedullary angiolipoma
Child's Nervous System, 1996We report the case of a young patient with a thoracolumbar (T11-L3) intramedullary angiolipoma. Total removal of the tumor was possible and after operation the patient's neurological condition greatly improved. Only two previous cases of intramedullary angiolipomas have been reported, and in neither could the lesion be wholly removed.
