First reported case of intraocular gnathostomiasis in China

A young man complained of his left eye painful and vision loss. We found a nematode body on the surface of the iris. The parasite was taken out and identified as the third-stage larva of Gnasthosoma spinigerum. This is the first intraocular report in China.
