Intraocular lens dislocation in the bag
Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, 1993We report a case in which an intraocular lens dislocated entirely within the capsular bag. The patient was myopic with a large anterior segment. A standard 5 mm x 6 mm phaco profile intraocular lens was found to be completely dislocated on the fifth postoperative day.

Subconjunctival Dislocation of Intraocular Lens Implant
American Journal of Ophthalmology, 1977Eight weeks after intracapsular cataract extraction with implantation of a Binkhorst iris-clip lens joined with a suture to a peripheral iridectomy at the 12 o'clock position, a 52-year-old woman struck the right side of her head. The corneoscleral wound ruptured for three fourths of its length and the artificial lens was located in the subconjunctiva ...

Intraocular Lens Dislocation, Intraocular Lens Exchange and Secondary Intraocular Lens Fixation
2016The incidence of intraocular lens (IOL) dislocation is increasing as with the changes in surgeons’ preference to newer IOL designs, introduction of soft IOLs and increased number of pseudophakic population in these years. Late decenteration is more frequently found in cases with uveitis cataract, pseudoexfoliation syndrome, and previous vitrectomy ...
