A new tissue sampling device using an acupuncture needle with bio‐compatible extraction sorbents in the recessed section is developed. The coating material using self‐wettable particles doesn't require solvent activation after sterilization. This device is applied for the anti‐cancer drug concentration monitoring during the in vivo lung perfusion ...

The chronic glutamate‐induced excitotoxicity hypothesis has profoundly informed the therapeutic strategies employed in Alzheimer’s disease (AD). This study shows pigment epithelium‐derived factor (PEDF) regulates astrocytic glutamate transporter‐1 (GLT‐1)‐mediated glutamate homeostasis and cognition. Reduced PEDF correlates with lower Mini‐Mental State

Mechanical stress activates PIEZO1 in vertebral growth plate chondrocytes, triggering ferroptosis through direct binding and inhibition of GPX4. This axis promotes lipid peroxidation and pathological ossification, accelerating spinal deformities. Clinical and genetic evidence (Piezo1‐cKO) confirms its role in scoliosis progression.

NEAT1 Promotes Epileptogenesis in Tuberous Sclerosis Complex
The primary neurological manifestations of tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) are intractable epilepsy and intellectual disability. NEAT1 is differentially expressed in TSC‐related epilepsy and influences neuronal excitability by regulating the PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway.

A molecular engineering strategy is developed to increase the stacking‐induced intermolecular charge transfer‐enhanced Raman scattering (SICTERS) intensity and photothermal conversion efficiency of electron donor‐acceptor‐donor (D–A–D) molecules. This approach enables to design SICTERS‐mediated photo‐theranostic agents for substrate‐free Raman image ...
