Intraoperative radiotherapy of gastric cancer [PDF]
In order to increase the cure rate of gastric cancer, an intraoperative irradiation technique has been developed and applied to 38 patients with this disease. The resectable lesions are treated by surgical procedures, and the remaining malignant remnants sterilized by irradiation with a single massive dose during laparotomy.

An intrinsic photoactive star‐shaped zinc phtalocyanine‐poly(L‐glutamic acid) (ZnPc‐PGA) nanoplatform for multimodal glioblastoma (GBM) therapy and brain‐targeted elivery. A ZnPc‐PGA‐based multifunctional theranostic nanocarrier platform enables image‐guided, multimodal GBM therapy. ZnPc‐PGA nanocarriers support the integration of fluorescence imaging,

Glioblastoma (GBM) exhibits RFX7 silencing via promoter hypermethylation, which downregulates PIK3IP1 to activate PI3K/AKT signaling, increase lactate accumulation, and enhance histone H4K12 lactylation. This lactylation upregulates PD‐L1/CSF1 expression and drives the immunosuppressive microenvironment formation.

Role of intraoperative radiotherapy in the treatment of sacral chordoma
Background context: Sacral chordoma is a rare entity with high local recurrence rates when complete resection is not achieved. To date, there are no series available in literature combining surgery and intraoperative radiotherapy (IORT).
