A 90° change in stress orientation has been previously proposed as the trigger for the final emplacement of the world-class Norilsk-Talnakh magmatic sulfide mineralization via the migration of accumulated sulfide melts from elsewhere within the ...

KAST: Knowledge Aware Adaptive Session Multi-Topic Network for Click-Through Rate Prediction [PDF]
Capturing the evolving trends of user interest is important for both recommendation systems and advertising systems, and user behavior sequences have been successfully used in Click-Through-Rate(CTR) prediction problems. However, if the user interest is learned on the basis of item-level behaviors, the performance may be affected by the following two ...

The Yarlung Zangbo Suture Zone (YZSZ) of South Tibet is divided by the ZhongbaZhada terrane into two subparallel ophiolitic belts in its western end. The peridotite massifs of the southern belt tectonically overlie the Tethyan Himalaya sequence.

AI-enabled Automatic Multimodal Fusion of Cone-Beam CT and Intraoral Scans for Intelligent 3D Tooth-Bone Reconstruction and Clinical Applications [PDF]
A critical step in virtual dental treatment planning is to accurately delineate all tooth-bone structures from CBCT with high fidelity and accurate anatomical information. Previous studies have established several methods for CBCT segmentation using deep learning.

Solid immersion microlens arrays-based light-field camera for 3D in vivo imaging [PDF]
Light-field imaging facilitates the miniaturization of 3D cameras while it requires the extension of the depth-of-field (DoF) for practical applications such as endoscopy and intraoral scanning. Here we report a light-field camera (LFC) using solid immersion microlens arrays (siMLAs) for 3D biomedical imaging.

On the complexity of solving a decision problem with flow-depending costs: the case of the IJsselmeer dikes [PDF]
We consider a fundamental integer programming (IP) model for cost-benefit analysis flood protection through dike building in the Netherlands, due to Verweij and Zwaneveld. Experimental analysis with data for the Ijsselmeer lead to integral optimal solution of the linear programming relaxation of the IP model.

Sediment dikes are common within dolerite sill intrusions in the Karoo Basin in South Africa. The dikes are subvertical and as much as 2 m wide, sometimes with abundant fragments of sedimentary rocks and dolerite.

Numerous, interconnected, granitic dikes (530 cm in width and hundeds of meters in length) cut Ferrar dolerite sills of the McMurdo Dry Valleys, Antarctica. The source of the granitic dikes is partial melting of granitic country rock, which took place in

The dikes of the area can be divided into three groups having different directions of remanent magnetization after demagnetization in the AC field. One of these groups has a direction which coincides with that measured for the Jotnian dolerites in the ...
