The Baboon as a Model to Study Human Health and Complex Disease

In this review, we evaluate the baboon as a model for human complex diseases and make the case for broader use of baboons in translational research.

Signals undergo preprocessing and frequency‐domain analysis to extract spectral features reflecting bone properties. A software‐guided procedure then identifies and selects standardized regions of interest (ROIs).
