Left Main PCI During Cardiac Arrest With Ongoing Lucas CPR

open access: yesCatheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions, Volume 106, Issue 4, Page 2391-2394, October 1, 2025.
ABSTRACT Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) during cardiac arrest presents significant procedural challenges, particularly due to poor imaging and hemodynamic instability. We present the case of a 75‐year‐old man with worsening angina despite optimal medical therapy, who underwent PCI of the left anterior descending (LAD) artery.

Honeycomb or Lotus Root‐Like Intracoronary Pattern: Insights From Optical Coherence Tomography of a Recanalized Thrombus

open access: yesCatheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions, Volume 106, Issue 4, Page 2511-2518, October 1, 2025.
ABSTRACT Spontaneous recanalized coronary thrombus (SRCT) has been identified in autopsy studies as multiple interconnected channels separated by thin septa. Despite its potential clinical significance, SRCT remains underdiagnosed. Recent advances in intracoronary imaging, including optical coherence tomography (OCT), have elucidated its ...

Aseptic Meningitis as First Presentation of Acute Myeloid Leukemia With Normal Cell Blood Count

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 13, Issue 10, October 2025.
ABSTRACT Aseptic meningitis can be the initial manifestation of acute myeloid leukemia (AML), even when the complete blood count (CBC) is normal. A single cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) analysis for malignant cells may be insufficient and could delay diagnosis. Therefore, infections, collagen vascular diseases, and malignancies—particularly leukemias—should

Efficacy of Wingman Crossing Catheter to Penetrate a Chronic Total Occluded Ostium Without Stump in a Superficial Femoral Artery

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 13, Issue 10, October 2025.
ABSTRACT Here, we report a case of endovascular treatment in which the Wingman crossing catheter evaluated the efficacy of penetrating a chronic total occluded ostium without a stump in a superficial femoral artery.

Rare Delayed Perforation of Central Venous Catheter in Persistent Left Superior Vena Cava: A Case Report

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 13, Issue 10, October 2025.
ABSTRACT In patients with vascular anomalies (e.g., isolated persistent left superior vena cava [IPLSVC]), real‐time ultrasound guidance during central venous catheter (CVC) placement reduces immediate procedural risks but cannot prevent delayed vascular perforation.
