Electrosleep Enhanced by Intravenous Lidocaine

Many drugs have been used to enhance the action of electro — sleep and electro — anesthesia currents. They include chlorpromazine and phenobarbital (Andolfi, Boaro, de Renzo and Artemagni,1967) trifluoperazine (Kulifkova, 1967) anesthetic agents and muscle relaxants (Marinov, 1968;Wulfsohn, 1966) and progesterone (Snyder and Glazier, 1967).
