Long‐term outcome of Coats' disease: Implications for the classification of foveal vascular pathologies

Abstract Purpose To investigate the long‐term outcome in patients with Coats' disease regarding initial stages. Methods Within a retrospective, clinical, single centre study, patients with diagnosed Coats' disease treated from 1992 to 2019 (minimum follow‐up of 12 months) were investigated. A total of, 75 out of 123 patients met the inclusion criteria.

LncRNA DANCR Activates p38/mTOR‐Mediated Autophagy via ANXA2 to Exacerbate Oxygen‐Induced Retinal Neovascularization in Mice

This study reveals that the long non‐coding RNA DANCR drives pathological retinal neovascularization in oxygen‐induced retinopathy via an ANXA2‐dependent p38/MAPK/mTOR autophagy pathway. In hypoxic endothelial cells and a murine OIR model, DANCR promotes angiogenesis.

Schematic diagram of the triggering mechanism of necroptosis after cerebral ischemia. First, CCL11 targetedly binds to CCR3 on the surface of astrocytes and upregulates the expression of CCR3. After CCR3 activation, it triggers the transcriptional activation of necroptosis.
