Multiple Criteria Decision‐Making Based on Vector Similarity Measures under the Framework of Dual Hesitant Fuzzy Sets

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, Volume 2020, Issue 1, 2020., 2020
Similarity measures have a great importance in the decision‐making process. In order to identify the similarity between the options, many experts have established several types of similarity measures on the basis of vectors and distances. The Cosine, Dice, and Jaccard are the vector similarity measures.

An approach to a fuzzy problem using the fuzzy Laplace transform under the generalized differentiability

open access: yes, 2020
In this paper, the solutions of a second-order fuzzy initial value problem are studied by the fuzzy Laplace transform under the generalized differentiability. An example is solved. Finally, conclusions are given.

SOLVING THE FUZZY INITIAL VALUE PROBLEM WITH NEGATIVE COEFFICIENT BY USING FUZZY LAPLACE TRANSFORM

open access: yes, 2020
In this paper, the fuzzy initial value problem with negative coefficient is solved by using fuzzy Laplace transform and generalized differentiability. The solutions are found and the comparison results are given.

Approximate Solution of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Volterra Integral Equation of Separable‐Type Kernel Using Elzaki Adomian Decomposition Method

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
An intuitionistic fuzzy number, which incorporates both membership and nonmembership functions at a same time, allows for a more accurate representation of uncertainty. This work presents an approximate solution to the Volterra integral equation that involves both membership and nonmembership degrees of uncertainty named as intuitionistic fuzzy ...

Investigation of A Fuzzy Problem by the Fuzzy Laplace Transform

open access: yesApplied Mathematics and Nonlinear Sciences, 2019
This paper is on the solutions of a fuzzy problem with triangular fuzzy number initial values by fuzzy Laplace transform. In this paper, the properties of fuzzy Laplace transform, generalized differentiability and fuzzy arithmetic are used.

Estimation of Inexact Multimixed Additive‐Quadratic Mappings in Fuzzy Normed Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
In the current study, we introduce a new model of multimixed additive‐quadratic mapping and then show that the system of several mixed additive‐quadratic equations defining a multimixed additive‐quadratic mapping can be unified and presented as a single equation. We also show that such mappings under some conditions are multi‐additive, multi‐quadratic,

Solving second-order fuzzy differential equations by the fuzzy Laplace transform method

open access: yesAdvances in Differential Equations, 2015
In this paper, we study the fuzzy Laplace transforms introduced by the authors in (Allahviranloo and Ahmadi in Soft Comput. 14:235-243, 2010) to solve only first-order fuzzy linear differential equations.

Advanced Mathematical Modeling of Woolen Knitting Dynamics Using Laplace Transform and Fourth‐Order Runge–Kutta Method

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
The knitting of wool is a complicated textile process that is driven by nonlinear interactions of yarn tension, loop creation, and needle dynamics. These interactions have a considerable impact on the quality of the fabric as well as the efficiency with which it is produced.

A Three‐Step Approach with Adaptive Additive Magnitude Selection for the Sharpening of Images

open access: yesThe Scientific World Journal, Volume 2014, Issue 1, 2014., 2014
Aimed to find the additive magnitude automatically and adaptively, we propose a three‐step and model‐based approach for the sharpening of images in this paper. In the first pass, a Grey prediction model is applied to find a global maximal additive magnitude so that the condition of oversharpening in images to be sharpened can be avoided.

Investigating Signless Laplacian Spectra and Network Topology in Helical Phenylene‐Quadrilateral Structures

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
This study investigates the spectral and topological properties of rounded knot networks K2n, a helical extension of phenylene quadrilateral structures, through signless Laplacian spectral analysis. Motivated by the need to understand how helical topology influences network dynamics and robustness, we derive exact analytical expressions for three key ...
