AIRP‐UNet: A Multimodal Brain Tumour Segmentation Method Based on Attention‐Guided Inverted Residual Pyramid Network

open access: yesIET Image Processing, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
Glioma segmentation from multimodal MRI is challenging due to tumour heterogeneity and imaging noise. To address this, we propose AIRP‐UNet, an asymmetric hybrid network that integrates an attention‐guided inverted residual decoder and a pyramid pooling module to selectively focus on tumour regions and capture multi‐scale context.

Forward Contract Decomposition‐Based Optimal Residential Pricing Strategy for Retailer Under the Forward and Spot Market Trading

open access: yesIET Renewable Power Generation, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
An optimal contract decomposition method considering monthly contract disintegration deviation minimisation and its impact on retail pricing strategy, comparing typical decomposition approaches, is investigated in this paper. The TOU price is settled by solving a multi‐objective optimisation problem considering the retailer's expected profit ...

Operational Safety Risk Assessment for the Water Channels of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project Based on TODIM-FMEA

open access: yesComplexity, 2020
The South-to-North Water Diversion Project consists of long-distance water delivery channels and a complicated geological environment along the way. To deal with the operation safety of the water conveyance channels in the middle route of the South-to ...

A Linear Diophantine Fuzzy Graph‐Theoretic Approach for Planar Dynamic Traffic Optimization

open access: yesApplied Computational Intelligence and Soft Computing, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Dynamic urban traffic signal control systems face uncertainties such as fluctuating vehicle densities, unpredictable incidents, and varying driver behaviors, making precise decision‐making highly challenging. To address these complexities, fuzzy planar graphs have been employed for uncertainty modeling.

A Novel Intuitionistic Fuzzy Inhibitor Arc Petri Net With Error Back Propagation Algorithm and Application in Fault Diagnosis

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
The setting and adjustment of the weight parameters in the traditional fault diagnosis method depend entirely on personal experience, and the parameter setting lacks regularity.

Correlation Measures of Dual Hesitant Fuzzy Sets

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2013
The dual hesitant fuzzy sets (DHFSs) were proposed by Zhu et al. (2012), which encompass fuzzy sets, intuitionistic fuzzy sets, hesitant fuzzy sets, and fuzzy multisets as special cases. Correlation measures analysis is an important research topic.

A novel parametric intuitionistic fuzzy entropy measure with applications to image edge detection

open access: yesJournal of Nigerian Society of Physical Sciences
In digital image processing, edge detection is a fundamental operation used to identify intensity discontinuities in an image. In this paper, we propose a novel one-parameter generalization of an entropy measure for intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs ...

Fuzzy Entropy for Pythagorean Fuzzy Sets with Application to Multicriterion Decision Making

open access: yesComplexity, 2018
The concept of Pythagorean fuzzy sets (PFSs) was initially developed by Yager in 2013, which provides a novel way to model uncertainty and vagueness with high precision and accuracy compared to intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs). The concept was concretely

Development of Aczel-Alsina t-norm based linear Diophantine fuzzy aggregation operators and their applications in multi-criteria decision-making with unknown weight information

open access: yesHeliyon
Aczel-Alsina t-norm and t-conorm are intrinsically flexible and endow Aczel-Alsina aggregation operators with greater versatility and robustness in the aggregation process than operators rooted in other t-norms and t-conorm families. Moreover, the linear
