Mathematics of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets
2016Short firsthand remarks on the history and theory of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets (IFSs) are given. Influences of other areas of mathematics for development of the IFSs theory are discussed. On the basis of results in IFSs theory, some ideas for development of other mathematical areas are offered.

2012The origin of my idea of intuitionistic fuzziness was a happenstance – as a mathematical game. I read the Russian translation of A. Kaufmann’s book [301] and decided to add to the definition, a second degree (degree of nonmembership) and studied the properties of a set with both degrees.
