The concept of intuitionistic fuzzy soft set (IFSS) which combines the advantage of soft set and K.Atanassov's intuitionistic fuzzy set (IFS) is proposed. Then some basic notions of IFSS are presented. Based on the "Complement", "intersection", "union" operations on IFS theory, the "Complement", "intersection", "union", "AND" and "OR" operations of ...

Similarity measures on intuitionistic fuzzy sets
Pattern Recognition Letters, 2003Summary: Intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs), proposed by Atanassov, have gained attention from researchers for their applications in various fields. Then similarity measures between IFSs were developed. In this paper, firstly, some existing measures of similarity are reviewed.

Mammogram Enhancement Using Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets
IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering, 2017Conventional mammogram enhancement methods use transform-domain filtering, which possibly produce some artifacts or not well highlight all local details in images. This paper presents a new enhancement method based on intuitionistic fuzzy sets. The presented algorithm initially separates a mammogram via a global threshold and then fuzzifies the image ...

Bipolar Fuzzy Sets Are Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets
Proceedings of the Bulgarian Academy of SciencesIn 1983 the Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets (IFSs) were introduced as an extension of Zadeh's fuzzy sets. Fifteen years later the Bipolar Fuzzy Sets (BFSs) were introduced as a new extension of fuzzy sets. In the article it is proved that each BFS can be transformed injectively or bijectively to an IFSs.

Intuitionistic Fuzzy Rough Set Based on the Cut Sets of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Set
2017In this paper, the triple valued fuzzy set is selected as the cut set of intuitionistic fuzzy set and four kinds of cut sets of intuitionistic fuzzy sets are selected to investigate the intuitionistic fuzzy rough set. The intuitionistic fuzzy rough set is constructed by using the representation theorem of intuitionistic fuzzy set, and it is proved to ...

Distance Measures for Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets and Interval Valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets
2019 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (FUZZ-IEEE), 2019Following the importance of distance measures in pattern classification, and their application to many kinds of data, crisp, fuzzy, etc, distance measures between intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs) are proposed and generalized to distances between interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IVIFSs).

Intuitionistic Fuzzy Rough Sets Determined by Intuitionistic Fuzzy Implicators
2010 IEEE International Conference on Granular Computing, 2010The primitive notions in rough set theory are lower and upper approximation operators defined by a fixed binary relation and satisfy many interesting properties. Many types of generalized rough set models have been developed in the literature. This paper investigates intuitionistic fuzzy rough sets resulted from approximations of intuitionistic fuzzy ...

Fuzzy entropy on intuitionistic fuzzy sets
International Journal of Intelligent Systems, 2006In this article we exploit the concept of probability for defining the fuzzy entropy of intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs). We then propose two families of entropy measures for IFSs and also construct the axiom definition and properties. Two definitions of entropy for IFSs proposed by Burillo and Bustince in 1996 and Szmidt and Kacprzyk in 2001 are used.

On the Temporal Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets
2022The Temporal Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets (TIFSs) are one of the essential extensions of the ordinary Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets (IFSs). For them different operations, relations and operators (from modal, topological and level-types) have been defined and their basic properties have been studied.
