AIRP‐UNet: A Multimodal Brain Tumour Segmentation Method Based on Attention‐Guided Inverted Residual Pyramid Network

open access: yesIET Image Processing, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
Glioma segmentation from multimodal MRI is challenging due to tumour heterogeneity and imaging noise. To address this, we propose AIRP‐UNet, an asymmetric hybrid network that integrates an attention‐guided inverted residual decoder and a pyramid pooling module to selectively focus on tumour regions and capture multi‐scale context.

Approximate Solution of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Volterra Integral Equation of Separable‐Type Kernel Using Elzaki Adomian Decomposition Method

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences
An intuitionistic fuzzy number, which incorporates both membership and nonmembership functions at a same time, allows for a more accurate representation of uncertainty.

To What Extent Contemporary Mathematical Science is Reliable

open access: yesRUDN Journal of Philosophy, 2011
The crisis in foundation of mathematics at the end of 19th beginning of 20th centuries initiated a number of axiomatic set theoretical systems during the first half of the 20th century. These systems were the result of different philosophical approaches (

A Linear Diophantine Fuzzy Graph‐Theoretic Approach for Planar Dynamic Traffic Optimization

open access: yesApplied Computational Intelligence and Soft Computing, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Dynamic urban traffic signal control systems face uncertainties such as fluctuating vehicle densities, unpredictable incidents, and varying driver behaviors, making precise decision‐making highly challenging. To address these complexities, fuzzy planar graphs have been employed for uncertainty modeling.

Fitting Insurance Claim Reserves with Two-Way ANOVA and Intuitionistic Fuzzy Regression

open access: yesAxioms
A highly relevant topic in the actuarial literature is so-called “claim reserving” or “loss reserving”, which involves estimating reserves to be provisioned for pending claims, as they can be deferred over various periods. This explains the proliferation

Modeling Portfolio Selection Under Intuitionistic Fuzzy Environments

open access: yesMathematics
Portfolio optimization is a multifaceted process aimed at achieving a balance between investors’ risk tolerance and expected returns. However, the inherent uncertainty and unpredictability of financial markets significantly hinder the attainment of this ...

Structural Insights into IUP-Algebras via Intuitionistic Neutrosophic Set Theory

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Pure and Applied Mathematics
This paper introduces and explores the concepts of intuitionistic neutrosophic IUP-subalgebras, IUP-ideals, IUP-filters, and strong IUP-ideals within the framework of IUP-algebras.

Brouwer–Hilbert on the Limits of Mathematical Knowledge

open access: yesStudia Universitatis Babeș-Bolyai. Philosophia
Brouwer famously challenged the limits of mathematical knowledge by arguing that classical formalism obscures intuitive evidence. Hilbert, by contrast, considered that intuitive insights could safely be ignored as long as formal systems remained ...

Intuicionismo

Bridging the Gap: An Epistemic Logical Model for Analysing Students’ Argumentation and Proof in Mathematics Education Research

open access: yesEducation Sciences
In this theoretical paper, an epistemic logical model for analysis of students’ argumentation and proof processes is presented. The model is conceived as a methodological tool addressed to the researcher in mathematics education that aims to shed light ...
