Path Dependence of the Quark Nonlocal Condensate within the Instanton Model [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Within the instanton liquid model, we study the dependence of the gauge invariant two--point quark correlator on the path used to perform the color parallel transport between two points in the Euclidean space.Comment: 4 pages, 5 ...

Non-local Higgs actions: Tree-level electroweak constraints and high-energy unitarity

open access: yes, 2011
We consider electroweak symmetry breaking by a certain class of non-local Higgs sectors. Extending previous studies employing the Mandelstam condition, a straight Wilson line is used to make the Higgs action gauge invariant.

Affine invariant conditions for a class of differential polynomial cubic systems

open access: yesActa et Commentationes: Ştiinţe Exacte şi ale Naturii
In this article the affine invariant criteria constructed in terms of algebraic polynomials with coefficients $\tilde a \in \mathcal R^{20}$ for a class of cubic systems are established.

Normalized parameters of a magnetoresistive sensor in bridge circuits

open access: yesMoldavian Journal of the Physical Sciences, 2021
Magnetoresistive sensors are considered as part of bridge circuits for measuring magnetic field strength and electric current value. Normalized or relative expressions are introduced to change the resistance of the sensor and the measured bridge voltage ...

Integral equation for gauge invariant quark Green's function

open access: yes, 2008
We consider gauge invariant quark two-point Green's functions in which the gluonic phase factor follows a skew-polygonal line. Using a particular representation for the quark propagator in the presence of an external gluon field, functional relations ...

Quantum graph as a quantum spectral filter

open access: yes, 2013
We study the transmission of a quantum particle along a straight input--output line to which a graph $\Gamma$ is attached at a point. In the point of contact we impose a singularity represented by a certain properly chosen scale-invariant coupling with a

Quadratic systems with two invariant real straight lines and an invariant ellipse

open access: yesJournal of Fixed Point Theory and Applications
Abstract After the linear differential systems the easiest nonlinear differential systems are the quadratic polynomial differential systems or simply the quadratic systems. These systems have been studied intensively and there are more than one thousand papers published on them.

Planar Cubic Polynomial Differential Systems with the Maximum Number of Invariant Straight Lines

open access: yesRocky Mountain Journal of Mathematics, 2006
We classify all cubic systems possessing the maximum number of invariant straight lines (real or complex) taking into account their multiplicities. We prove that there are exactly 23 topological different classes of such systems. For every class we provide the configuration of its invariant straight lines in the Poincare disc.

The gauge invariant quark Green's function in two-dimensional QCD

open access: yes, 2010
The gauge invariant quark Green's function, defined with a path-ordered phase factor along a straight line, is studied in two-dimensional QCD in the large-N_c limit by means of an exact integrodifferential equation. It is found to be infrared finite with

An Exact Prediction of N=4 SUSYM Theory for String Theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
We propose that the expectation value of a circular BPS-Wilson loop in N=4 SUSYM can be calculated exactly, to all orders in a 1/N expansion and to all orders in g^2 N. Using the AdS/CFT duality, this result yields a prediction of the value of the string
