Linearizing and Forecasting: A Reservoir Computing Route to Digital Twins of the Brain
A new approach uses simple neural networks to create digital twins of brain activity, capturing how different patterns unfold over time. The method generates and recovers key dynamics even from noisy data. When applied to fMRI, it predicts brain signals and reveals distinctive activity patterns across regions and individuals, opening possibilities for ...

Cross-View Feature Learning via Structures Unlocking Based on Robust Low-Rank Constraint
The cross-view multimedia are widely existed and attract many attentions in recent years. Nevertheless, it is noted that the phenomenon, that data in different classes from same view are more similar than that in same class from different views, is ...

Solid Harmonic Wavelet Bispectrum for Image Analysis
The Solid Harmonic Wavelet Bispectrum (SHWB), a rotation‐ and translation‐invariant descriptor that captures higher‐order (phase) correlations in signals, is introduced. Combining wavelet scattering, bispectral analysis, and group theory, SHWB achieves interpretable, data‐efficient representations and demonstrates competitive performance across texture,

An entity‐centric foundation model, GloPath, is introduced for comprehensive glomerular lesion assessment from routine renal biopsy images. Trained on over one million glomeruli, the framework enables robust lesion recognition, grading, and cross modality diag nosis, while uncovering large‐scale clinicopathological associations.

Rapid Proteome‐Wide Discovery of Protein–Protein Interactions With ppIRIS
ppIRIS is a lightweight deep learning framework for proteome‐wide protein–protein interaction prediction directly from sequence. By fusing evolutionary and structural embeddings with a regularized Siamese architecture, ppIRIS achieves state‐of‐the‐art accuracy across species, enables minute‐scale screening, and reveals biologically validated bacterial ...

Combinatorics of symplectic invariant tensors [PDF]
An important problem from invariant theory is to describe the subspace of a tensor power of a representation invariant under the action of the group. According to Weyl's classic, the first main (later: 'fundamental') theorem of invariant theory states ...

Max-plus (A,B)-invariant spaces and control of timed discrete event systems
The concept of (A,B)-invariant subspace (or controlled invariant) of a linear dynamical system is extended to linear systems over the max-plus semiring. Although this extension presents several difficulties, which are similar to those encountered in the ...

A probabilistic framework based on random time‐space coding metasurfaces enables control of the spatial distribution of electromagnetic fields temporal statistics. By tailoring the marginal and joint distributions of random codes, electromagnetic fields with desired mean and variance patterns are realized, enabling simultaneous transmission and jamming.
