Double‐Interpenetrating Composite Bioink for Multi‐Component 3D Bioprinting and Biofabrication
Marine‐polysaccharides‐derived double interpenetrating network hydrogel‐based bioink, combining the attributes of physical and ionic crosslinking, enables room‐temperature bioprinting of mechanically defined structures that can be handled and are cytocompatible.

Clusterization‐triggered emission is realized in dilute aqueous solution by introducing imine linkages into cellulose‐based luminophores. Imine functionalization creates O/N‐rich, hydrogen‐bonded clustered microenvironments that stabilize emissive states and restrict molecular motions. Luminescence is tunable by amine type and multiplicity.

Did inventories decrease in the Belgian manufacturing sector between 1979 and 2000?. [PDF]
It is almost unquestionably accepted by most observers that inventories decreased over time. There are so many Enterprise Resource Planning systems implemented and so many Just-In-Time ideas successfully introduced in companies that we almost ...

Chemical Maturation Controls Bioavailability of Fetuin‐A‐Mineral Complexes in Biomineralization
The role of Fetuin‐A‐mineral complexes in matrix mineralization is unclear. Here, Fetuin‐A‐mineral complexes were found to exist in functionally distinct states that determine mineral bioavailability: chemically labile calciprotein monomers directly mineralize collagen fibrils, while chemically matured primary calciprotein particles require cellular ...

Instability of Dynamic Inventory Systems [PDF]
We show in this paper that instability is an intrinsic cause of production variability in a dynamic inventory system. We first show that a unique stationary optimal policy exists for both full-backlog and lost-sales case and under the policy a firm ...

Packed hydrogel microfiber (PHM) materials consist of flexible and high aspect ratio hydrogel components that, as a bulk material, are simultaneously mechanically robust and dynamic. Cells cultured in or on PHM scaffolds can be influenced by topographical cues or interact with a dynamic environment that permits cell spreading and multicellular ...

Control of spare parts is very difficult as demands can be very low (once in a few years is no exception), while the consequences of a stockout can be severe.
