Modulation Mechanism of TeV, GeV, and X-ray Emission in LS5039

open access: yes, 2010
The emission mechanism of the gamma-ray binary LS5039 in energy bands of TeV, GeV, and X-ray is investigated. Observed light curves in LS5039 show that TeV and GeV fluxes anticorrelate and TeV and X-ray fluxes correlate.

Synchrotron Radiation for Quantum Technology

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Materials and interfaces underpin quantum technologies, with synchrotron and FEL methods key to understanding and optimizing them. Advances span superconducting and semiconducting qubits, 2D materials, and topological systems, where strain, defects, and interfaces govern performance.

Bayesian Estimation of Shift Point in Shape Parameter of Inverse Gaussian Distribution Under Different Loss Functions [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Optimization in Industrial Engineering, 2015
In this paper, a Bayesian approach is proposed for shift point detection in an inverse Gaussian distribution. In this study, the mean parameter of inverse Gaussian distribution is assumed to be constant and shift points in shape parameter is considered ...

Comparison of Bayes Estimators for Parameter and Relia-bility Function for Inverse Rayleigh Distribution by Using Generalized Square Error Loss Function

open access: yesAl-Mustansiriyah Journal of Science, 2018
In the current study, we have been derived some Basyian estimators for the parameter and relia-bility function of the inverse Rayleigh distribution under Generalized squared error loss function.

THE DETERMINATION OF DISTRIBUTION PARAMETERS OF ONE-DIMENSIONAL CONTINUOUS RANDOM VARIABLE ACCORDING TO ITS INITIAL CHARACTERISTICS BY FINANCIAL RISKS MODELLING

open access: yesФінансово-кредитна діяльність: проблеми теорії та практики, 2015
The conception of direct and inverse problem of random variable modelling is introduced. The direct problem is a problem for getting value of continuous random variable, which is contributed according to the given distribution law, which parameters are ...

Extended Target Marginal Distribution Poisson Multi-Bernoulli Mixture Filter

open access: yesSensors, 2020
The existence of clutter, unknown measurement sources, unknown number of targets, and undetected probability are problems for multi-extended target tracking, to address these problems; this paper proposes a gamma-Gaussian-inverse Wishart (GGIW ...

Next‐Generation Bio‐Reducible Lipids Enable Enhanced Vaccine Efficacy in Malaria and Primate Models

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Structure–activity relationship (SAR) optimization of bio‐reducible ionizable lipids enables the development of highly effective lipid nanoparticle (LNP) mRNA vaccines. Lead LNPs show superior tolerability and antibody responses in rodents and primates, outperforming approved COVID‐19 vaccine lipids.
